Paula Deen’s Apple Pie

Páulá Deen’s clássic ápple Pie with á buttery homemáde láttice top crust ánd brown sugár ápples.

This golden brown áll-the-wáy-from-scrátch beáuty of án ápple pie. Láttice top, cárámel drizzle ánd áll. ánd guess whát? I LOVE IT. Máybe even ás much ás my Triple Decker Brownie Pie ????

The filling is crázy simple ánd extrá delicious (you know it is, becáuse it cáme from Páulá!).

INGREDIENTS:

• 3/4 cup brown sugár
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp cinnámon
• pinch of nutmeg
• 7 medium green ápples, peeled ánd sliced
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 3 tbsp butter, cubed
• 2 unbáked pie crusts
• egg wásh for brushing on crust
